Public Access Defibrillation

Thank you for your interest in starting a public access defibrillation (PAD) program. Early defibrillation has been proven to save lives and improve outcomes from cardiac arrest. We would like to help you to establish a PAD program in your workplace or other public area.

What you will need:

  • An organization
  • Members or employees
  • Training in CPR
  • An Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)
  • Integration with the local EMS system
  • Maintenance of skills and equipment
  • Compliance with California regulations
