Ambulance Permits
The Riverside County EMS Agency (REMSA) permits ambulances as:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Life Support (ALS)
- Critical Care Transport (CCT)
To apply for an ambulance permit, please complete the pre-application form . For further information about ambulance permitting, please see the current version of Policy 3201 - Ambulance Permits.
REMSA is not the Riverside County agency responsible for medi-van regulation. Please see County Ordinance 698 Regulating Taxicab Services and Non-Emergency Medical Van Services for more information about the requirements for medi-vans.
